Cogs/PDO threads, the ‘No Blade Face Lift’ is the ultimate and latest technology in thread lifting. Thread lifts are non-surgical treatments that lift the face using specially designed threads, without having to make surgical incisions. It is crucial to acknowledge that as we get older the deeper layers of our skin lose some key components such as collagen and elastin, causing wrinkle and lines to develop on the surface of our skin. COGS/PDO threads can be safely inserted into the deep layers of skin, the tags then hold onto the skin, so that when it tightens it pulls the skin up. Flattening out any lines or wrinkles and helping to shape your skin to your natural look.

I honestly cannot recommend Beverley enough. I went to her for my lips and, from the consultation onwards, I felt completely confident that I could trust her with my face.
One of the things I appreciated most was how honest and considered she was about what would actually suit me. There was absolutely no pressure to have more done, and I never felt like she was trying to sell me treatments I didn’t need. If anything, she kept me grounded about what would actually enhance my face while still keeping me looking like me — which is exactly what you want from someone you’re trusting with aesthetics.
And my lips… I am OBSESSED. They are genuinely stunning. They’re fuller and have such a beautiful shape, but still look completely natural. That was exactly what I wanted, and she absolutely nailed it. I still look like me — just enhanced in all the right places.

COGS threads can last from 6 months - 2 years.
Results can be seen immediately after treatment but will continue to improve over the next 6 months.
Cog Thread lifting is a very safe procedure and complications are extremely rare. Minor complications may include temporary swelling and bruising. Clients may feel slight tightness or a pulling sensation following the treatment but this subsides over a few weeks.
Here at Brook Bottom Aesthetics we ensure everything is done to make any discomfort minimal. Before COGS Threads a topical numbing cream will be applied to the areas being treated.
